Green Team is going to kick butt today at the GEAR UP Olympics. We will be kicking butt and taking names later. We've practiced our hearts out and today is the day we will become champions! Them we can sing Champions by MGK while we strut our stuff! I cannot wait. I'll give updates later. LET'S GO GREEN TEAM!
Today I went to a gallery hop. It's the first one that I have been too and it was terrifically awesome!! I cannot wait to go to another one. I saw art from everywhere and made by everyone. Art is one of my favorite things to look at so the fact that gear up decided to make it an entire activity is amazing. I also took some great photos myself today. Maybe one day someone will be buying my photos at the gallery hop.

I call it a miracle because it's a miracle I've survived this long I. Such little sleep. Today I got a new elective called the Scratch program. It's so bomb. I love it. We do a lot of stuff with computers. I've learned things I never knew. Here are some examples of some of the stuff I created:
We worked hard for our game Olympics this Sunday making sure we were prepared to win! Our team has trained the hardest went through the most and we are ready to come out on top. So after practice a few of us rewarded ourselves with, you guessed it, Starbucks .

I helped the International Book Project today and it was the most fun ever! It didn't even seem like real work. I felt good about helping out too. What this organization does is really helpful and considerate. I loved it and would totally go back again. Me and my friend Malorie packed over 37 boxes full of books to be shipped off. Our record for fitting so many books in a box is 100. We put a smiley face on every box! I had a wonderful time today.

Today I went on a field trip to the Dairy factory that helps produce products for Kroger. It was amazing, and afterwards the bestest teacher in the whole world bought us fro-yo. It was the bestest ever! I can't wait until tomorrow's fieldtrip.

Today has been amazing. My first class was Acting and it was extremely funny. Next I learned a little bit about playing the drums. I'm no expert but I will be when the three weeks are over. Ha! Yeah right... I also mad a sculpture in my communications class. It describes how people talk and how ideas are developed. Can't wait for the rest of the day!
